About GanjaSeedIndex

GanjaSeedIndex began with one small irritation: finding out what a cannabis seed actually costs takes half an evening. Every shop lists a pack price, every pack holds a different number of seeds, and nobody puts the two together. So you end up with eight tabs open, a calculator, and the nagging feeling you are still not comparing the same thing.

This site does that arithmetic once and keeps it in one place.

The idea

One index, as complete as we can make it, of every cannabis seed you can order and what it costs per seed. Not a shop, not a top ten, not a list of affiliate links dressed up as advice. An index: names, numbers, and where to get them.

Price per seed is the number the whole site turns on. A pack of 25 at 48 euro is cheaper per seed than a pack of 10 at 21 euro, and only one of those two figures tells you so. Every strain page shows it for every shop that carries the strain, next to the pack price and the pack size, so the comparison holds even when the packs do not match.

Complete, and honest about where it is not

Complete is a direction, not a claim. Today the index holds a few hundred strains from a couple of shops, and it grows with every seed bank that gives us a product feed. Where a figure is missing, the page says so instead of filling the gap with something plausible: no invented THC numbers, no shipping promise we have not read on the shop's own page, no rating nobody gave. The site stats page publishes, field by field, how much of the index is actually filled. Nobody in this corner of the internet does that, which is exactly why it is worth doing.

What you can do with it

Search a strain and see who has it and what it costs per seed. Filter by what you can actually grow with: climate, height, yield, flowering time, taste. Put two strains side by side. Or start from the money and sort everything by price per seed.

When you click through to buy, you land at the shop itself. We do not sell seeds and we never hold your order.

Feeds and corrections

Shops with a product feed can be indexed here, and a wrong price or a strain under the wrong breeder is worth telling us about. Both go through the contact page.
