Privacy Policy

GanjaSeedIndex.com ("we", "us", "our") explains here what data we handle, why, and for how long. We keep it short because we handle very little.

The site itself

The pages are static files. There are no user accounts, no login and no advertising network.

Analytics: we count visits with Google Analytics 4, and only if you allow it. Nothing is loaded and no cookie is set until you do, refusing is a single click and changes nothing about how the site works, and Cookie choice at the bottom of any page lets you change your mind later.

• Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• What it collects: the pages you view, roughly where you arrived from, and your approximate region and device type. Advertising features, ad personalisation and Google Signals are switched off, and IP addresses are shortened before storage. Nothing you type here is sent to Google.
• Who processes it: Google Ireland Limited, on our instructions, partly on servers outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses.
• How long: the two cookies last 90 days, which is our setting rather than Google's two-year default. Google keeps the underlying event data for up to 14 months.

The cookie policy names the cookies one by one.

Cookies: only the two analytics ones above, and only with your permission. Three other settings, your theme choice, your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and your answer to the cookie question, are kept in your browser's own local storage rather than in a cookie, and never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes all of them.

If you follow a link to a shop, that shop may set its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over that.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs: your IP address, the pages requested, the time, your browser and operating system, and the referring page. These are used to keep the site up and to spot abuse. They are rotated and deleted after 30 days.

The contact form

If you send us a message, we store what you put in the form (your name, your email address, the subject and the message) together with your IP address and the time. We need the IP address to stop automated spam, which is also why the form has a hidden field and a minimum time between opening and sending.

• Why: to answer you, and to keep the form usable.
• Where: on our own server. The form posts to our own domain, so no third party receives your message.
• How long: messages are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation and reviewed periodically; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
• Sharing: never, unless the law requires it.

Affiliate links

When you use a "View deal" button you go to a shop through an affiliate link, and that shop may record that you arrived from here. That is how we earn a commission. We do not receive your name, your address or your order details, only aggregate reports on clicks and sales.

Other sites

We link to shops we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so read their policy before you buy there.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to processing and withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Mail info@ganjaseedindex.com or use the contact form, and we will handle it within a month.

In practice there are two places anything about you could sit: a message you sent through the contact form, and the analytics figures if you allowed them. The analytics side holds no name and no email address, so tell us roughly when you visited and we will do what we can; withdrawing consent under Cookie choice stops any further collection immediately.

You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Age

This site is meant for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly keep data from minors.

We may update this page. The date at the top says when it last changed.
