Privacy Policy

GanjaSeedIndex.com ("we", "us", "our") explains here what data we handle, why, and for how long. We keep it short because we handle very little.
The site itself
The pages are static files. There are no user accounts, no login and no advertising network.
There are no tracking scripts.
Analytics: none at the moment. If that changes we will ask first and say so on this page before anything is collected.
Cookies: we set none. Your theme choice (light or dark) is kept in your browser's own local storage and never leaves your device; you can clear it with your browser data. Your confirmation that you are 18 or older is stored the same way, so you are not asked on every visit.
If you follow a link to a shop, that shop may set its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over that.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs: your IP address, the pages requested, the time, your browser and operating system, and the referring page. These are used to keep the site up and to spot abuse. They are rotated and deleted after 30 days.
The contact form
If you send us a message, we store what you put in the form (your name, your email address, the subject and the message) together with your IP address and the time. We need the IP address to stop automated spam, which is also why the form has a hidden field and a minimum time between opening and sending.
- Why: to answer you, and to keep the form usable.
- Where: on our own server. The form posts to our own domain, so no third party receives your message.
- How long: messages are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation and reviewed periodically; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
- Sharing: never, unless the law requires it.
Affiliate links
When you use a "View deal" button you go to a shop through an affiliate link, and that shop may record that you arrived from here. That is how we earn a commission. We do not receive your name, your address or your order details, only aggregate reports on clicks and sales.
Other sites
We link to shops we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so read their policy before you buy there.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to processing and withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Mail info@ganjaseedindex.com and we will handle it within a month.
If you have sent us a message through the form, that is the only place we would hold anything about you. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Age
This site is meant for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly keep data from minors.
Changes
We may update this page. The date at the top says when it last changed.
